3 Ways to Celebrate American Craft Beer Week May 11-17
Remember “microbreweries”? The little guys, the small-scale brewers? Now they’re called Craft Breweries. In 2006, the Brewers Association created American Craft Beer Week to promote small and independent U.S. breweries, taprooms, and brewpubs. It’s celebrated May 11-16.

Craft Beer.com says, “Attention indie beer lovers! It’s time to get ready for the official start of beer season, when temps rise, backyard grills heat up, taproom patios reopen, and lawn games get serious.”

How to celebrate National Craft Beer Week
1. Visit a local bar or brewpub and ask for your favorite craft beer.
CraftBeer.com say that most Americans live within 10 miles of a craft brewery. They’ll help you find the one closest to you with their Brewery Finder for all of the US.
2. Host a Craft Beer Party for your friends.

3. Make craft beer ice cream.
