Wonderful, warming red wine hot cocoa recipe for adults.

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle 1 red wine

  • 8 c 8 milk

  • 1 can 1 sweetened condensed milk

  • 1 pkg 1 pkg dark chocolate chips

  • 1 tsp 1 McCormick Ground Nutmeg

  • 4 4 McCormick Cinnamon Sticks (and more for garnish)

Directions

  • Spray your crock pot generously with nonstick cooking spray or use a slow cooker liner.
  • Melt chocolate in microwave: Microwave on medium and check every 10 seconds until mostly melted, then stir until completely melted.
  • Add melted chocolate and sweetened condensed milk to crock pot. Mix well.
  • Whisk in remaining ingredients in slow cooker.
  • Cover and cook on low for 1 hour or until heated through. Stir every 15 minutes to ensure the textures and flavors are blended while heating. Do not allow to boil.

Notes

  •  It’s important that the liquids do not boil and the melted chocolate is completely incorporated.
